Community Update Notice

Current Events:

The team at The Nevada Hydro recently completed the 15th volume in their Final License Application.  Volume 15 – Response to FERC Deficiency Letter, was submitted to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on April 3rd, 2018, which met FERC’s 90 day period to respond to their deficiency letter.  This volume contains answers to specific deficiencies that FERC requested and is now available on the LEAPS Hydro website for you to access.  The next steps in the application process entail FERC reviewing the volume to determine if the answers provided satisfy their requirements.  FERC will then send The Nevada Hydro a study request letter in a scoping document for any studies that need to be updated or completed.  The Nevada Hydro will have approximately 90 days to complete any study requests through the joint effort of their staff and contracted consultants.

More About The Team:

In addition to the regular employees at The Nevada Hydro, we have been working with contracted experts in a variety of fields to provide the LEAPS team with industry leading guidance and experience.  A few of our consultants are GENTERRA Consultants, ZGlobal, Dr. Michael Anderson, The Kahlen Group, Mr. Paul Oneil, and Mr. John Sparks.  While each of these consultants specialize in their own unique field that range from infrastructure design to legal council, their work helps assure that all aspects of LEAPS is closely monitored by an expert in any given field of work.
